Championed a new police pay scale to recruit and retain top-quality officers.
Oversaw the new Police Station/Community Center project—completed on time and under budget.

Passed emergency measures to ensure Vienna was prepared for future public health challenges.

Led the fight to pass a strong tree preservation ordinance and prioritized reversing canopy loss.
Completed a full tree inventory and funded replacement initiatives.
Advanced “dark skies” lighting standards to protect neighborhood character.
Blocked a proposed Tysons casino that threatened Vienna’s quality of life.
Expanded sidewalks, outdoor dining, and recreation opportunities, while strengthening the town’s noise ordinance.
Smart Growth & Housing Solutions
Supported affordable housing options including cottage homes, condominiums, and rezoning for residential use.
Advanced the rewrite of Vienna’s zoning ordinance to balance residential character with commercial vitality.
Backed thoughtful redevelopment that preserves the unique charm of Vienna.
Parks, Recreation & Community Life
Helped secure Vienna as the future home of the W&OD Visitor Center.
Approved rebuilding Southside Park and worked to expand recreational opportunities, including pickleball.
Supported the purchase of land for future parks and community use.
Partnered with NOVA Parks to enhance the W&OD Trail through Vienna.
Economic Growth & Local Business Support
Supported creation of Vienna’s first Office of Economic Development.
Completed a long-term economic development study to plan for sustainable growth.

Founded Liberty Amendments Month—now a Vienna and Virginia state holiday—celebrating inclusivity and history.
